BITS was originally established to support Traveller. That support came in two forms - published supplements and adventures, and attending Gaming Conventions and running demos to promote Traveller.

Although COVID-19 and other real life events (work, personal circumstances) has meant that BITS has been less active than we would have liked, we have continued to run Traveller scenarios in a low key way across a number of conventions in the UK. 2024 saw the return of TravCon after an extended absence following the pandemic, and there are plans to run it again in 2025.
